After receiving a BA in Art History from Arizona State University, he attended the University of New Mexico, where he received a Master’s of Fine Arts degree in painting and drawing. He has shown his drawings nationally, most recently as part of Art Basel in Miami, Richard Levy Gallery in Albuquerque and SITE Santa Fe and Eileen Braziel Fine Arts in Santa Fe.
